Thanks for the introduction as I had no idea about this place. Great to know that it’s the birthplace of Soul music (as many music was created in the southern states), and also would love to know more about the Indian culture in Georgia and visit some of the points of interest!

I have been reading quite a few posts about Georgia lately and am intrigued by the place. This is the first one that I have read which is focused on Macon. There is such a vibrant and colourful cultural heritage that the place has. The Indian festival looks to be a really colourful extravaganza that I would love to witness.Indeed Macon seems like the soul of Georgia. The Tubman museum is another fascinating place that we would like.
Looks like Macon has a great cultural scene. The Native American festival looks like a must do. My friend lives in Atlanta, will send her this in case she wants to do a weekend getaway.
Had no idea there was so much to do in Macon! I visit Georgia at least once a year to see my niece so next time I’ll try to visit Macon too. I love fried food so I’ll definitely be checking out The Bear’s Den.
The few times I’ve been to GA, and heard of Macon, I’ve never thought it can be THIS interesting especially with the Native American festival and the Tubman Museum.
I think you just added Macon to my Southern USA bucket list! I had never heard much about it before but I love exploring places full of history and culture. If I hit the US next year, definitely swinging by here!
