Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

If you’re looking for a hotel near London Heathrow, consider staying at the ibis Styles London Heathrow Airport. When researching places to stay near Heathrow, ibis Styles London Heathrow immediately caught my attention. The nightly rate was reasonable and with free breakfast and complimentary bus service to/from the airport, booking a stay here was a no brainer.

Staying at a hotel that offers amenities like free parking, airport shuttle service, and breakfast is always a great way to save money when traveling.

Since I was flying out to Austria the next day, ibis Styles London was convenient especially since I wanted to stay close to the airport. However, the hotel is pretty far from Central London. If you want to go sightseeing in London, plan for an hour tube ride into the city.

Ibis Styles London Heathrow

Located in Harlington, the hotel has 153 rooms with a variety of room options available for all types of travelers including solo travelers, business travelers, and families. Checking-In

Checking-in at ibis Styles London Heathrow was seamless. After providing my passport and credit card information, I was given my room key. The hostess was nice enough to let me into my room around 11:00 a.m., three hours before check-in. Bonus points for accommodating my early arrival!

By the way, at ibis Styles London Heathrow Airport, check-in starts at 2:00 p.m. and you can check out by noon.

The Queen Room

My double room was bright and colorful.

With a modern touch and a fun design, my room was clean and cozy. Since the hotel was quiet, I easily spent the day relaxing in my room.

Comfortable Queen Room with double bed.

My room had a flatscreen TV and a small desk that you could use while sitting on the bed.

The refreshment trolley, which also doubled as a nightstand offered complementary water, coffee, tea, and an electric kettle. Two thumbs up for hooking guests up with more free stuff.

The walk in shower was another plus.

In terms of Wi-Fi, the Internet was fast and I had no connectivity issues during my stay.

Helpful Tip: When traveling to London, don’t forget to bring an adapter. The power plugs and sockets in England are quite different from the U.S. and Canada.

Environmental Program at ibis Styles

If you’re staying at ibis for a few days, plan to reuse your towels to help save the environment.

When guests reuse their towels, the hotel uses those savings made on water and energy to plant trees throughout the UK. According to ibis, one tree is planted every minute.

Complimentary Breakfast

Before catching my early morning flight to Austria, I grabbed breakfast at the hotel.

ibis Styles offers a complimentary all-you-can-eat continental breakfast buffet with hot coffee from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. during the weekdays and 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. during the weekends and bank holidays.

At breakfast, you can have cereal (lots of different types) pastries (yummy croissants), all types of cold cuts, boiled eggs, milk, juices, and fresh fruit.

Although there’s an additional charge for cooked food, trust me, you can have your fill of free food without reaching for your wallet.

Dining at Westcombe Restaurant

Another great reason to stay at ibis Styles London is that you don’t have to leave the hotel if you get hungry. The Westcombe Restaurant & Bar is located conveniently inside ibis Style London Heathrow Airport.

Although room service is not an option, the restaurant is open daily from 11:00 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Serving a variety of international cuisine, I ordered vegetarian samosas as an appetizer and a mixed leaf salad. My bill came out to £ 15 not including tip.

You can pay your bill with either a credit card or cash, however, just remember that if you want to leave a tip, you’ll have to tip in cash.

Would I stay at ibis Sytles London Heathrow Airport again?

Yes, I absolutely would. Not only is ibis Styles affordable but you get a lot of amenities like complimentary breakfast, free buses to/from the airport and free parking.

Conveniently located only a few minutes away from the airport, this is the perfect hotel for travelers looking for a comfortable value based hotel near Heathrow Airport.
